Re: choosing a life/ health insurance
So, prahkeitouj, what is the name of this company?
Is it an international company, or local?
Does it have any government guarantee?
What happens, one day in the future, when you go to make a payment only to find that the company doesn't exist anymore.
Name the company. There will surely be someone here who can tell you if you're being scammed or not.

Re: choosing a life/ health insurance
I've been on my mom's policy before, then on my corporate policy.
Which was a blessing, as I've had a hernia operation, tonsils taken out, and pancreas stolen.
Even got a few free back rubs from a chiropractor, LoL.
Allergies weren't cheap either.
Since I've left the States over 8 years ago I've had nothing. A close friend pointed out it's kind of selfish, as my family will be the one in a pickle if something happens to me.
Most non-emergency stuff is cheap out here, so it's been ok. Allergy medicine, random coughs/colds, Dengue, vaccines, fucked up cornea (in which I almost went blind and was hours away from booking a ticket home to the States after sending images of my eye to a doctor friend of the family), and stitches once.

Doesn't your company in Saudi cover medical? Ours paid for worldwide cover excluding North America.General Mackevili wrote:I've been on my mom's policy before, then on my corporate policy.

Oh yeah, forgot that.
I've only been to pharmacies here, but I swear people go for the lamest shit, like hairy palms, just to talk to the filipina nurses.
Pharmacies are cheap like Cambodia, they're just missing pain killers and all the other fun stuff.

A singlet, a bench outside your embassy and if all else fails a truck to the body in the middle of the street.Duncan wrote:So what is the recommended medicine if you have an allergy to work ?
