River Crown

Discussions about restaurants, cafes, coffee shops or bars in Cambodia. Feel free to write any reviews you have, whether its the best burger you've had in Phnom Penh or the worse pizza in Kampot, we want to read it! Discussions about Khmer dishes are also in here, or you can leave your own. If you own a restaurant, feel free to let the expat community know about it here so that we can come check it out. Found a favorite cafe or have a place we should avoid? Tell us about it. Asian recipes & questions are always welcome.

Opposite FCC - they have improved their menu and service. Average meal around $6-$7 and it is really good! Drinks are little over priced, but they have Happy Hour from 4.30pm to 7.30pm which makes for great value.

Highly recommend and definitely a good place to take large groups as they are organised and split the bill to couples without any issue.

Better view than FCC too - you also hear any music coming from FCC so you don't have to hang out with NGO types or so many tourists.

+2 excellent!
I tend to sleep in the nude. Which isn't a bad thing except for maybe on those long flights.

And if happy hour doesn't do it for you, the entrepreneurs out the front will sell you some of their happy merchandise.

The place above River Crown (at the very top) seems to be opened now too. Haven't been yet. Last time I was there, I walked up to the top only to find a few ghosts kickin around up there.

^ we have and it is really weird. it looks like it's run by a family who lives there as well, so there actually their living room right next to your tables but you can not go in there. and service was really bad - took us a while to explain that we want some beers and it took them 40 min to bring some appetizers we order to go with the beer - needless to say by then the beers were gone. That's how Rivercrown got customers for dinner that night - and very grateful cusmtomers
Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes
