I was going to add something to the thread about flooding but couldn't find the thread/s. Nothing shows up on the search function.
What has happened to those threads?

Re: Administration/Moderation Concerns?
Probably been mentioned before, but this thing signs me out at the drop of a hat. Switch from 3G to wifi, or between wifi connections, or a shakey wifi connection, or just not being on for a while, all seem to sign me out. Been more than a couple times that I haven't posted when I would have just because I couldn't be bothered to keep signing in.

Just to make sure: You're signing in with the way that gives you the option to "keep me logged in"?LTO wrote:Probably been mentioned before, but this thing signs me out at the drop of a hat. Yup, I always click the 'keep me logged in' box. Sometime I stay logged in, sometimes not. I notice the problem mostly with mobile devices.

Damn. Not sure how that works. I've had random problems like that, but they are always short lived.LTO wrote:Yup, I always click the 'keep me logged in' box. Sometime I stay logged in, sometimes not. I notice the problem mostly with mobile devices.
Guess we'll wait for something from Unlucky Burger.

There's a forced signout triggered when your IP address changes so much that it's no longer associated with your session. This functionality is pretty good at preventing hijacks of accounts. As the site is currently plaintext http only it's a good method for now.
