Government Decided to Remove SHV Governor from Position
The governor of Sihanoukvile city asked for promotion, but the result shocked him as he was removed from his position instead.
Sihnoukville: The government of Cambodia decided to remove Mr. Chin Sarin, [the governor of Sihanoukville] from his position and Mr. Eng Sokleng [current deputy governor of 7 Makara district] will be appointed for that position. The decision of removing Mr. Chin Sarin from his position was made just a few days after his letter sent to the government requesting for promotion to become the governor of Sihanoukville province has been leaked to the public.
According to a letter issued by the government of Cambodia signed by the prime minister of Cambodia, [HE] on 24 July 2015 that Dep News just received on 31 July 2015. In that letter stated, Mr. Chin Sarin has been ordered to work in ministry of interior and he had been promoted as grade 1 official.
The leak of the letter that he sent to the government requesting for promotion drew a lot of criticizes from people.
Samdach Krola Hom Kong Sar Keng refused on that promotion request. He also stressed that Mr. Chin Sarin is an official who gained a lot of bad criticizes from the public.
