Speaking of buffets...

I went to a Korean buffet in Siem Reap that was all you can eat including PORK that cost $7! I wanted to rent a room there.

I went a few times with the ex wife.

It was excellent the first time we went but every time we went back they had gone down in both food and service.

I never understood how they could make money as the fresh seafood and sushi can't be cheap to prepare and it was not expensive for the buffet dinner.

I never went for the lunch one so I cannot comment on that l, but that was even cheaper than the dinner buffet.

I'm disappointed to read that. Even though the quality wasn't the same as in the beginning they were still offering great value, with very decent sashimi, not only the usual salmon stuf but tuna, ebi and a few other squid-like stuff, as well as good california rolls etc.

Went there about a month ago for dinner and it was superb value or money, as they had a 25% discount plus a FB "like" extra $4-5 discount, I must have paid $18 instead of 28 or something.

I went there once, got sick as a dog and spent an hour in their bathroom puking my guts out. Can't say it's because I'm not used to "that kind of food" either...

I went two or three times as well, but found the food somewhat disappointing so never went back. Sushi in buffets is never good, and the place didn't have a very wide variety of food which appealed to me. Regular cheap Khmer food, sushi which wasn't very good, pizzas which were alright (I liked that I could custom order them without corn and other oddities) and a few other things.

I found myself preferring to eat a $5 meal elsewhere where the quality/taste was better.
