Discussions about restaurants, cafes, coffee shops or bars in Cambodia. Feel free to write any reviews you have, whether its the best burger you've had in Phnom Penh or the worse pizza in Kampot, we want to read it! Discussions about Khmer dishes are also in here, or you can leave your own. If you own a restaurant, feel free to let the expat community know about it here so that we can come check it out. Found a favorite cafe or have a place we should avoid? Tell us about it. Asian recipes & questions are always welcome.

I'm not a huge fan of their bazooka sandwiches (they tend to be a bit dry), but they do offer excellent value. The place still has the best fries in town by a landslide.

Years ago, the bazookas were big, juicy and damn delicious! Best value on the menu IMO. But you're right; they did dry up. Not sure why. Less sauce? Old stale bread? I hope the OP is the owner and is reading this! I do miss the good 'ol days!

I know. Off topic. But... I just had Subway and Carl's Jr. in Saigon. Excellelent! Just like the KFC. The KOW does have a way of messing things up when the Thais and Viets seem to be able to keep the quality at their desired level. Starbucks is also in Saigon now, but any moron stupid enough to spend $5 on a coffee when there is much better literally just outside on the sidewalk for $0.37 should be...whatever. The sidewalk's more fun!

I think Bassac Bistro on 308 has even better fries.
