I'm not a huge fan of their bazooka sandwiches (they tend to be a bit dry), but they do offer excellent value. The place still has the best fries in town by a landslide.

Re: la patate
Years ago, the bazookas were big, juicy and damn delicious! Best value on the menu IMO. But you're right; they did dry up. Not sure why. Less sauce? Old stale bread? I hope the OP is the owner and is reading this! I do miss the good 'ol days!Bitte_Kein_Lexus wrote:I'm not a huge fan of their bazooka sandwiches (they tend to be a bit dry), but they do offer excellent value. Re: la patate
I know. Off topic. But... I just had Subway and Carl's Jr. in Saigon. Excellelent! Just like the KFC. The KOW does have a way of messing things up when the Thais and Viets seem to be able to keep the quality at their desired level. Starbucks is also in Saigon now, but any moron stupid enough to spend $5 on a coffee when there is much better literally just outside on the sidewalk for $0.37 should be...whatever. The sidewalk's more fun!
Re: la patate
I think Bassac Bistro on 308 has even better fries.
