CEO and Khmer440 reach a GENTLEMEN'S AGREEMENT!
Re: CEO and Khmer440 reach a GENTLEMEN'S AGREEMENT!
It looks like OrangeDragon and the General have done
something that no one thought could be done.
Where ever you are...........drink an extra beer and raise a glass
to the talent of these two.

Of course public opinion is with you. We all want this rot to stop, . . . . . .but . . . . .EdinWigan wrote:Well it seems public opinion is not with me on this one. Now, where is my knitting
. . . . . that guy keeps digging deeper and deeper.
As, I'm sure you know, he who diggeth the pit, shall lie there in. (Or, something like that).
Oh, and by the way, your knitting is under the cushion on the lounge.
Re: CEO and Khmer440 reach a GENTLEMEN'S AGREEMENT!
I wondered where I left that, thanks.
There is also a good phrase, 'When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging'
I never met, well not knowingly met KiR. Apparently, talk at the time was how he trotted of to get wed (maybe my visit clashed, I bet he was gutted) but I did have the pleasure to meet many of the other members of the High Command and, to be totally honest (it is a trait I have that will no-doubt get me in trouble sometime) I found them all to be great people.
Playboy, RobW, AndyinAsia etc... spent any an evening chatting over a cold beer or three and I look forward to doing more of the same, on my return.
K440 did seem to get more than a little 'Cliquish' of late but hopefully folk there will rethink, regroup and return in better shape.
As for CEO, it is a brave step to have a forum with such a hands off* approach to moderating but it really seems to be working a treat. That says to me that maybe I was not alone in my thoughts and the silent majority have spoken, through their obvious support for a new and relaxed forum. Where people can talk about their hopes and fears (Floyd) walk about, bending their knees, as they go. Point at distant clouds with a single finger and not feel the need to use all four. Listen to all forum members, irrespective of the level of their well trimmed, nasally contour following, facial hair. Or for that matter not feel the need to dressing only in smart clothing personally designed by Hugo Boss.
No, it is a nice , new world on the forums of Cambodia and I am looking forward to my return.
*Hands Off but that does not mean they are not working very hard behind the scenes to make all this happen. God took seven days to create the world, these two only took a week to create our new world.

To be clear Edin (that's your real name isn't it?), there are many very good people contributing to that forum. It just has a problem in the owner/management department.EdinWigan wrote: Playboy, RobW, AndyinAsia etc... spent any an evening chatting over a cold beer or three and I look forward to doing more of the same, on my return.
Are you up early this morning? 6:00 am?
Oh, damn! It's way past my bedtime here. Goodnight.
