Was on Chhroy Changwar peninsula yesterday in the middle of it, many of the feeble steel framed advertising signs and the huge TV all blown down. The massive structure at the roundabout would have killed somebody if it had fallen on anyone, huge mess. Trees blown down all over the place.

Looked pretty destructive.

looks like a possible replay this afternoon- it is building up good and black and thundering just across the mekong right now.

stinkin hot- must be 38 - dry from here to India. Monsoon southwesterlies not yet evident at all.

drove down to kampot yesterday and there is no rice production at all.

I'd just come out of a computer shop's car park on Monivong when it hit.

I rode a couple of hundred metres then the gusts hit. A large plastic letter got blown off the front of a shop and smashed to pieces about a meter away from me. That was when I decided to stop and wait.
