Canadian Artist Travis Vagner Goes Missing in Thailand

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Reminds me of this story of the "missing" American couple back in 2013:
http://www.peruthisweek.com/blogs-missi ... stry-50260
Over the last few weeks the story of the two Americans who disappeared during a bike trek around Peru became international news. CNN, ABC, Fox News, the Huffington Post, and many other news outlets, including Peru This Week, ran the story, only to learn that the missing couple was safe aboard a riverboat heading toward the Ecuadorian border.

Fortunately, the couple (Garret Hand and Jamie Neal from California) was found safe and happy, as they explored the remote northern regions of Peru. However, the news of their disappearance hung around like the morning fog in Lima, only to lift later in the day, revealing a sunny ending.

The uproar began after one of the “missing” American’s mothers began to worry about her son’s whereabouts after weeks without contact. Of course, mothers have the right to worry about their children, especially when they are traveling abroad in a country that is only recently recovering from decades of violence. But the damage was done, and the Peruvian tourism industry may be the one to feel the backlash of this month-long saga.
Let's hope that the same goes for Travis.

Well, there were two messages on his facebook timeline relating to his "disappearance" which have been deleted, presumably by himself, so perhaps he just wants his privacy.

Yeah, I can understand that. In the "old days" before FB etc you could go "missing" as much as you liked as long as you sent a twice yearly postcard to your folks. LOL.

Speaking of Canadian Artists...

How about Canadian Dave Walker?
I know they found the body but what the hell happened?
Read the whole http://www.davewalkercase.com/ website/blog his friend maintains and the whole case is baffling.

Do the expats know the what really happened and are keeping it on the down low?
