Parasailing Business for sale in Sihanoukville

If you are looking for a business to buy in Cambodia, you've come to the right place! This is a section where owners can post their businesses for sale and where others in the community can ask questions about starting a business here. Foreigners can own 100% of a business here in Cambodia, and it's a pretty simple process to buy or sell, whether it's a bar, restaurant, hotel, or anything else. Have questions about what paperwork is needed for your company? Ask away. Curious if the expat bar on Street 136 selling for $100,000 is a good deal? Start a discussion on CEO and we'll let you know what we think.

Just came across this and thought it made a nice change from Bar/Restaurant/Guesthouse for sale.
Anyone been parasailing there ? It's on Sokha.

And if someone here buys it, you owe me a beer Hector.
You don't know me but I'll find you. :beer1:
(Disclaimer. I have no interest in this at all - apart from the beer.)

So does the person buying the business need any sort of licence? Not interested in buying, just curious.
Once you've read the dictionary, every other book is just a remix.

In a parallel world known as anywhere else the vessel operator would need a minimum of a USCG 6 passenger license as delineated in the International Colregs of 1972. Colregs is short for Colision Regulations. International as in international.

Having spent a few hours behind the wheel of para-sail boats both in the Caribe & the Fl. Keys it requires a great deal finesse to operate safely.
Have NEVER seen a para-sail boat with outboard machinery.

Google para-sail adventures gone bad. Things go fubar rather hastily.

''Have NEVER seen a para-sail boat with outboard machinery.''

I retract that statement! Have seen in Cozumel & Isla Mujeres Mexico. In the mid 70's.

They are launching & landing from beach. A crowded beach. What could possibly go wrong. Beach launching & landings & stationary platform launching & landing went out in late 70's. All modern para-sail equipment now launch & land on a large aft deck of vessel. All inboard gas or diesel. Some use V8 7.4 ltr. w/Mercruiser Alpha or Bravo OD's. Higher end units use 300HP Yanmar diesel. Have seen a few jet powered. NOT jet engine but a water pump. Same as jet skis only larger.
I am at Sokha 3-4 days a week for a year now. Never saw this in operation. There was never any support from the Sokha concierge.
I would rather buy a bar where I could drink away my $ in lieu of throwing it in a hole in he water.

Very antiquated & slow reload times.
