POS system

Post by 4000islandsguy »

Anybody know of any good point of sales system that doesn't cost too much? Noticed Tony at CH bar had a system that seemed pretty slick, anybody know what it is?

I can't for the life of me remember the name, but it is pretty slick. Shoot him a PM on here (CharlieHarpersBar) and I'm sure he'll gladly fill you in on what and where to get it.

Aside from that, one i've always had good experience with was OpenBravo. Open source "community" edition available free and hosted on your own server, or a pretty cheap cloud based version. If you're not technical, or don't have someone who is, I suggest the hosted solution. Sort of "works out of the box" solution.
