I watched this...MOVIES!

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Not a bad movie, however I think it is a stretch to refer to it anything other than fiction.

If this movie depicts history then Buck Rogers is an accurate depiction of 1987.

Stalingrad the movie is a fictional love story set against the back drop of one of the fiercest battles ever fought.

I was disappointed that it didn't actually provide too much insight into one of greatest examples of human endurance - from the perspective of both the German (and their axis friends) and the Russkies.
If you are interested in Stalingrad you should watch Enemy at the Gates ---- brilliant. Another Russian themed movie is "The Beast" about the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

I missed it when it came out (2010) but I just watched Shutter Island with Leonardo DiCaprio and Ben Kingsley. Good performances and a few interesting plot twists.

I enjoyed that movie. Most of Leonardo's films are well done.

I enjoyed this, not sure why:

This was great, but a bit dodgy with topics in front of the kids:

This was weird, very funny in places:

Just watched Hercules at the new cinema at Aeon, not too bad. Keen to check out a film in their 4d theatre, afraid the missus might get motion sickness though!
