Yup, I thought all Driver's Ed was like that. One can definitely learn from the other's f*ck ups as well.

this is a good thing. I learned the same way, 4 of us in the car with a teacher. High school. You'd rather have one here and one there learning how to drive proper? I'd rather have LOTS of em doin it. Imagine if they drove decently. Traffic deaths would drop bigtime. Perhaps by accident they would learn about how well observing common rules is actually helpful. That could bleed over into other aspects.
