Sihanoukville: A foreigner arrested for illegal staying
Sihanoukville police arrested another foreigner for illegal living in Cambodia
Sihanoukville: The police from department of immigration in Sihanoukville arrested another foreigner who has been staying in Cambodia without legal documents.
The officer of department of immigration confirmed that the nationality of the foreigner is Irish, names Brian Thomas Little. He was arrested in afternoon on 11 May 2015 after the police found out that this foreigner has no passport and any legal documents to live in Cambodia.
The police continued, “ the arrested foreigner entered Cambodia on 10 March2015 and he was temporarily staying in a Koh Touch bungalow located at Koh Touch village, Koh Rong district, Sihanoukville province.
After the arrest, he was sent to the department of immigration for deportation out of Cambodia.
The General of Sihanoukville [Mr Chhoun Naren] confirmed that he is the 18th foreigner that was arrested lately. Some of them were staying in Cambodia illegally and other involving with drugs.

Yet another foreigner who has been deported for overstay of a month or so. Looks like they will be banging people up and deporting them for the smallest lapse where one could just pay an overstay before.

The thread on K440 suggests that this chap has a bit of history... and has been here for 5 years without a visa. I think that's fair enough for deportation, if it's true.
