First CEO shindig!

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I believe Sir Vladimir is originally from Zimbabwe, but I could be wrong. But, yes, my trip is primarily a fact-finding mission to investigate all the cultural and economic influences and forces that shaped our esteemed colleague.

^and also to exploit the poor people of SA and make money using the black sorcery of law
Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes

As we all know, lawyers are a powerful force for good, sock puppet.

They cut through complex regulatory and legislative red tape and help companies and individuals achieve business objectives. They help companies come to poor countries like Cambodia and create tens of thousands of jobs, while helping those companies create more profits, which in turn are used for either more investment and / or distribution to shareholders which, in turn, is spent in economies to create even more wealth.

The only people who can possibly despise lawyers are those who have been left out of that cycle of wealth creation.

Are there bad lawyers? I'm sure there are as there are bad realtors, bad scientists, bad journalists and bad . dare i say . .teachers too.

Not sure, the whole thread was deleted without any explanation.

I think it's safe to assume the whole thing is cancelled. Image

However, CEO's boat trip with the Ultimate Frisbee party people will NOT be cancelled! ImageImageImage
