Haha, why would you cripple your own navy by taking away their subs? I can understand taking away planes and such, but subs? It's not like they'd be very useful in a coup.

I think that's inflated. Sounds unbelievable, even for Cambodia. Probably a few hundred though, which is still a total joke. Last I heard was 400 or so (I think that's what is quoted in Chandler's book regarding the mid 90s).
