Looking for a Studio/apartment for 1 month only

Looking for an apartment to rent in Phnom Penh? We have you covered. This is a good starting point for expats who are in the process of moving to Cambodia to live and work. Finding a villa, condo, flat, or borey to stay in when you arrive is probably one of your top priorities. Check out our listings from the community! And if you have a house or apartment for rent, you're welcome to list it here for free. Kampot, Siem Reap, Battambang, Sihanoukville, and other provinces around Cambodia also have places to rent, but you might have better luck finding them on foot after you arrive, as the largest number of listings are in the capital city of Phnom Penh.

Hey there!

Personally, I would just wait until you're on the ground in Phnom Penh, and just go around on your own in the neighborhoods you like and look for "rent" signs.

I doubt you'd find all that for $150 in those areas. I'm pretty certain, actually.

Good luck and let us know what you end up with!

No problem! We have some listed in this same forum, so look at them to get a loose idea of what you'll be finding.

Have you been to Cambodia before? I'm guessing "yes."

I'm very interested in this topic. In fact I just posted a thread in this section before I read this entitled " Are there alternatives to guesthouses and hotels in Phnom Penh?".

How do owners feel about renting out a studio or apartment for just one month?

Try Murray's Place. He's near Russian Market & I think he is on the front page of K440 still. His ad said "from $150/month".

As with all accommodation in Cambodia, view before committing.

Just to give you an idea of realistic prices, you're looking at $350 upwards, and probably closer to $500, for a single month for a furnished apartment. The ongoing rate in the area you mentioned for a two-bedroom, combination kitchen/laundry, loungeroom, balcony style on an upper floor is from around $300 per month for a six-month or longer stay.

There are very few landlords that will rent out apartments to people for less than 6 months. I think Murray's Place do http://www.servicedapartmentsphnompenh.com/ , and it may also be worth checking out the FB group "Phnom Penh Housing" https://www.facebook.com/groups/PPhousing/
