Do & Don't Practices - A guide from the Ministry of Tourism
Not sure if this is new or not, but I've never seen a published copy anywhere, thought maybe they'd hand them out to tourists arriving at the airport?

And this, dear Khmer friends, is a great example of irony.PSD-Kiwi wrote:Not sure if this is new or not, but I've never seen a published copy anywhere, thought maybe they'd hand them out to tourists arriving at the airport?

"Barang visitors should not litter, deforest, eat wildlife..."
I'd love to buy some printed copies of that if anyone sees them in print.

Excellent find. The irony is great - littering and deforestation lol - hope they have copies in chinese and vietnamese.
However, unfortunately it seems that some tourists really need to read this guide. They also need to add an update on the DONTs - ride around naked on a motorbike or take porno photos at Angkor Wat come to mind. They do say that you shouldn't sell drugs, but forgot to add "don't sell drugs with a bad hairdo" - which seems obvious, but still needs saying as we've seen recently.
Plenty more "don'ts" to add, like "don't think your meth-head girlfriend is good marriage material" etc. Maybe we should rewrite it ?

LoL, I suspected that this was a joke! Then I read that it was published by the Cambodian "Ministry of Tourism...which confirmed my suspicions! !
Proving once again that the government hates competition in any way shape or form.
