Cambodia navies forced a group of Vietnamese who gathered together to do some religious ritual to leave Cambodia’s island.

Koh Kong: around 2:00 pm on 8 April 2015, Vice Admiral Tea Vinh ordered a group of Cambodia navies to expel a group of Vietnamese who gathered together on Cambodian island in Koh Kong province to do some religious rituals without asking permission from Cambodian government.

According to Dap News reporter who went to the scene to report the situation, there were a lot of Vietnamese who gathered together on Cambodia Island in Koh Kong province calls Chomka Doung Ti Boun located in Kapi commune, Koh Kong district, Kong Kong province which is about 20 km from the downtown, in order to do some religion rituals and meditation. They also built a statute (Kong Si Em) to worship too.
According to the report, those Vietnamese have gathered on the Island and been camping and been doing the religion rituals for a couple month already without asking the permission from Cambodian government.
