Musk donates Cyber trucks with firefighters in the California wildfires. The trucks can deliver power in 120 and 240 volts, enough to power equipment and power an entire house.
Diverted off assembly lines intended for delivery. So absolutely brand new.
In addition, free Starlink transmitters and dishes to the affected areas that now have no cell phone towers or internet.

The company said it had three Cybertrucks in Zuma Beach and Malibu, two in Pasadena, and three with the LA Sheriff’s Department in Altadena—plus a truck bed filled with oranges, bananas, bottled waters, and supplies.newkidontheblock wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 7:12 am Musk donates Cyber trucks with firefighters in the California wildfires. something i saw on BBC> Those e cars/vans are a mess
where as it takes 20 minutes to 1 hour to put out a gas car/truck, it takes up to 10 hours to put out an ev car cause of the battery
ALSO reported that those batteries, if not on fire, could ignite at any time later
Burning Teslas, fried battery storage systems in Los Angeles add to toxic mix hindering wildfire cleanup
Specialized removal means longer delays delays for victims

Toxic materials: The batteries contain hazardous metals that could leach into the environment if not properly handled.
Identification difficulties: Partially combusted EV batteries may be difficult to identify among the debris, increasing the risk of accidental exposure or improper handling.

https://www.mercurynews.com/2025/01/17/ ... la-return/lithium batteries from Tesla Inc., along with those from other carmakers, have added to the mix of toxic materials requiring specialized removal in the wake of the fires, delaying the fire victims’ return to their properties.

“A lot of the cars in the evacuation area were lithium batteries,” said Jacqui Irwin, a state assembly member representing the Pacific Palisades, one of the neighborhoods hardest hit by the fires. “We’ve heard from firefighters that those lithium batteries burned fires near homes – like those with power walls – for much longer.”

Musk earns $54,500,000 a day. He donated less than a half hours income if he paid retail price buying from himself. BFD

You know what else can power a whole house? One of these, that costs $400:newkidontheblock wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 7:12 am Musk donates Cyber trucks with firefighters in the California wildfires. So a saving of more than $80,000.

More like diverted from a parking lot where these unsold pieces of crap are piling up like a teenager's laundry:Diverted off assembly lines intended for delivery. So absolutely brand new.

Concept of thoughts and prayers.

A generator also sounds a lot more convenient. How long will battery last and what happens when battery runs low? Need to head off to find a charger, meaning significant down time but the generator just needs filled up with diesel.John Bingham wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 1:21 pmYou know what else can power a whole house? Re: What is Musk up to?
Good thing BBC are a reputable newscaster, with a Mossad/CIA guy screening negative news about Gaza.
Why would you even read news from those whores?
Nothing from them is unbiased.
Even Fox is better
