Child Protection Program Officer based in Phnom Penh (1 position)

Duties:

[The Purpose of the Role]
The program officer overall responsibility is to take day to day implementation for micro leadership and management responsibilities of Child Protection Project in order to deliver good quality of Child Protection Program in line with SCI policies and donor requirement.

Requirements:

[Essential]
Degree in Social Sciences/Social Work and Social Administration/Development Studies/Child Rights/Legal Studies or any relevant field.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English and Khmer.

Strong facilitation skills will be considered a definite advantage.

Sound understanding of the government ministries related to child protection, education, child protection networking and key stakeholders.

[Desirable]
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the development and implementation of child protection programs and/or development of protection networks.

Fluency in English and Khmer and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability and willingness to travel to all parts of the country.

Willing to work in emergency situations.

Willingness to abide by Save the Children Child Safe Guarding /Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct.
