What's with the dismantling of the (I think) A319 of Cambodia Airways on the ramp at PNH? Had something happened to it so that it couldn't fly off to be parted out at a regular location?
It may not have engines. They are often leased separately from the airframe, and may already have been reclaimed by, or returned to the leasing company.
Happens fairly frequently, though usually out of the way of curious onlookers.

It's not just that it has no engines. I've trucked and airfreighted plenty of them over the years. It had no wings attached (I think I saw photos of them being trucked out of the airport) so no landing gear and so the fuselage was sitting directly on the ramp, and the horizontal stabilisers were also detached and sitting on the ground.

“A Scandinavian Stewardess examines a new uniform proposal for Scandinavian Airlines in 1964. It was not approved.”
What a shame. It would have made flying a lot more enjoyable.
