CEO ten year anniversary.

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

CEO ten year anniversary.

Post by Kung-fu Hillbilly »

Oh, the mudslinging, the tittle-tattle, the voluminous tombs of useless particulars pertaining to the small coterie of souls basking in the eastern glow of agreeable visa laws and cheap booze.

CEO has entertained us all from the expat neophyte to the veteran Southeast asian warhorse, these added to the lonely, the inquisitive, the reckless, as well as those generous crack smoking fat bags who’ve unselfishly graced these boards with their blethering applesauce.

It’s been a decade of unparalleled interchange on CEO for those besotted with Cambodia, the Kingdom’s rock-like middle finger rigidly extended toward the sterility, predictability, and mundanity of western living.

CEO has consumed many of us for many an hour, and while it hasn’t always been pretty, I think it fair to say it’s been mostly a bit of fun.

What is CEO’s actual official birth date?

I will never forget the "dead Jenny" fairytale. It left a lasting impression with me. Entertaining and confusing at the same time.

OrangeDragon signed up on Friday 2nd May, 2014. OD's first post was made that same day at 10:14 PM.

Then, a chap by the name of Cambod was the next to join on Sunday 4th May, 2014. His first post was in reply to the above post by OD.

General Mackevili was late to the scene, signing up on Tuesday May 6th. Three hours later than Bendix, who would go on to become the owner of that other Cambodia forum.

Even Stroppy Chops was signed up before both Bendix and General Mackevili.

I was thinking May 4 for some reason, but the logs show that the forum was in fact created on May 2. What do you know.

Do they even make that anymore? I am told Bayon Beer is also still made, yet cannot see any evidence for it.

Don't know about Klang but remember Bayon. As I remember it was always 500 cheaper than other (at that time more or less just Angkor or maybe Anchor).

Never found at bars or restaurant, only at some shops. Tasted more or less same as the others.

Is it still around?
