cheap cars

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

The Visto/Atoz (I've had both), get about 13-15 km/l using A/C around town IF they are setup properly. Very cheap to run and get fixed properly but the door handles like to break all the time. Between both my cars, I had to replace 6 door handles, but they are relatively easy to work on and keep running well. The only thing I don't like is that they are 3 spd automatics without lockup, so for that reason I'd rather have a Gen II Matiz for $500-1000 more.

A $3k Corolla would do only slightly better than a Camry on fuel, I did 8 km/l and the Camry 6.5-7 ish.

Misc off the top of my head.

Another useless response - our mini tuktuk gets over 22Km/L. Thought I'd share.
