Yeah, in the shade it was +46 Celsius, and in the sun the needle confidently jumped over 50 on the Soviet thermometer.

The beginning of the flowering of the luxurious Cassia Fistula tree, aka ើមលឿងរាជ, aka Laing Riech in Cambodia, is a harbinger of the six-month rainy season starting in about a month.
And recently it bloomed all over Phnom Penh!

Like nature is warning people - here’s a month for you, prepare your homes, soon Cambodia will turn into one big Aqua-park.
