Pretty accurate recreation based on what I was able to know from interviews with the hard-ass MFers that were there ... BTW ... my grandfather's brother (they called him crazy uncle Al) landed at Normandy (survived) ... and the got reassigned to the Pacific Command ... he then landed on Iwo Jima ... survived both ... no wonder the family called him "Crazy Uncle Al."
