Get a Cell Phone jammer compatable with 4G/ 3G/2G, very handy and discreet,
A friend got one of those a few years ago. Could be fun but very much illegal.

Germany it is the same speaking loud on phones, using speaker to make a call, facetime.
Even with earphones you can hear them.

In 99% of the cases I can not understand what they say, you can imagine....

The worst is when you're at a restaurant and the restaurant owner, their spouse, kid, other family member, friend or the staff starts watching a video on their smartphone.

How clueless can you be, chasing away your customers?

Many of the locals (including my other half's family) live in relatively small homes with a lot of occupants, I don't think peace and quiet is a normal part of everyday life. On the other hand, most households do tend to go silent pretty early each evening
