This is not a typical place to eat. It is on the roof of a building that on the ground floor is the Smart shop on Riverside, near the Night Market. There is an illuinated banner that is visible on Riverside.

To access it, you need to use the dodgy-looking alleyway that runs between 110 and 108, just to the right of Ben's bar on 110. Off to the right of this alleyway there is a small illuminated sign above a set of stairs. Up these stairs you must venture, there is a faint odouir of cat's urine. After multiple twists and turns you finally emerge, somewhat breathless, to a lovely space with lovely staff. They serve a single dish that changes daily, often French cuisine. Always $5. Cans of beer are $2. Wine is inexpensive. No aircon but good breeze and ceiling fans. Magnificent views in all directions.
Open Tuesday-Sunday, 7-10pm.

Yes, I took a couple of Couchsurfers there just for the view a few months ago... Finding the entryway was quite fun. I asked a woman working at a kiosk on the side street where it was, and she pointed up the alley there behind... But it is a long long walk up a lot of stairs, haha...

Fabulous view of the river at night... And breezy for a change ...

But empty... Good for agoraphobes like me...
