Help - khmer to english translation

Post by luc_ia »

Can somebody please help me translate this part of police report?

I was robbed in Phnom Penh and due to language barrier (police officers did not speak english and I did not speak khmer at all) I am not sure, what stands there.

Thank you very much

Then, the suspect on the back of the Scoopy snatched my phone from my hand and they drove away.'

Sounds like a classic. I guess they have this as a textblock and just fill in name, date and place.

Lesson learned: if you use your phone on the streets, always hold it away from the roadside...
Driving on Cambodian roads is just like playing a classic arcade top scroller. The only difference is a force feedback controller, the limitation to only one life and the inability to restart, once Game Over
