A decent human and possibly one of the last great journalists
Some of his video works were well ahead of their time and have aged like wine
He did write some absolute leftie bullshit for the English rags though

Yes, and it isn't necessary to agree with someone 100% to admire and respect them. It might not even be desirable.Jerry Atrick wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 12:07 pm A decent human and possibly one of the last great journalists
We need more journalists and political commentators like Pilger.

I read about this guy’s passing and his great work … RIP for sure. Tim Hetherington was another great one (w/ strong ties to Cambodia) lost recently … they don’t make ‘em like this anymore … guys like them are an endangered species.

The Hetherington documentary is well worth a watch.
