I have been toying with the idea of getting my own moto for a while - I currently either cycle (usually arriving at my destination usually covered in sweat) or use tuk-tuks, a costly option over the month, and often frustrating when the driver can't read a map.

I have decided to rent a moto for the short term and probably buy my own in the coming months.

After looking at my rental agreement, naturally, it says that I'm liable for any damage to the bike, including theft, as well as any third party claims made by others should I be involved in an accident.

I've heard that moto insurance for this type of thing is relatively affordable, but I was wondering if any insurance companies will insure rented bikes specifically. The company I rented my moto from told me that they don't offer insurance, and that I'd have to find my own solution if I wanted insurance.

Bit of a long shot but if anyone can recommend a company that would insure a rented moto for typical accidents and mis-haps that occur frequently on Cambodias road, I'd appreciate it.
