Just my opinion, but that sounds pretty messed up. You need to find something better to grasp. I'm not religious but I think it works for some people. Otherwise just try to focus yourself. Good luck.

How is it messed up?
In Cambodia certain zodiac signs are known to be more independent. Children born under that sign will not take care of their parents in old age and instead live their own lives.

I think my Chinese sign is dog, and I kind of like dogs, so there is most definitely something going on there on a much deeper level that the human mind can't grasp but only experience.
