USA Military Recruiting Could be Going Global

I’m available. My only specific preferences being the B1-B, backup option; a Warthog. I could stretch/slum it with a C17. I don’t require my name to be stencilled on, but nose art should be the avatar that GM found for me.

Warthogs are going away. Not survivable against near peer adversaries without clear air dominance. Modern missiles can take out a wing or rip it in half. Anything that can’t carry ultra long range or hypersonic missiles or stealth also going away. Lancers will be replaced by Raiders.

F-117 Night Fighters are coming back, however. Pulled out of retirement. Turns out built in laser designators and stealth against not quite near peer adversaries are still a winning combination. Can’t been jammed like GPS, doesn’t require ground laser targeting.

No plane like it in the current inventory.

Do you like black on your birds?

Just my opinions, of course.
