2 Nigerians Arrested for Fraud Involving Wing Money LTD.

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Oh ... many kinds of scammers. I only know some cases of online scammers and I got many mails from them. I think most of them are from Africa, but I wonder why they know my e-mail address?

It's only a matter of time before someone starts selling cheap air-time for phone companies.

Computer-generated credit codes...yeah, no one would ever think of cracking that.

They probably just try millions and millions of different emails and just wait for random replies....

But I got many mails from them and defferent people. I tried to report it in spam but sometimes still in box. I don't know if I have problem with my password security or not. I think they are too free to try to send it to a poor person like me. Hehehe

Google your email address with quotes around it and see what comes up. If anything, your email is in a database. If not, your email might still be in a database, but it would be difficult to know when that happened. When you give your email to companies, some of them will sell that address to spammers & scammers, who buy them in bulk. When you post your email address on a public forum, web crawlers will capture it and add it to these databases.

The best solution is to use one email address for work and/or personal needs and then another one to sign up for shit online.

@MM: yes, good idea that should have more than one. Maybe I use my e-mail address for work to connect to Facebook and it showed my address in public. Thank you Mekong Mouse!
