Hey guys, setting up wifi here seems a little confusing. I'll be here in siem reap for 6 months before i move to taiwan. the wifi companies here all seem to be quoting me for the full price of all 6 months upfront. Coming from the US this was not the case there. Is this a cambodia thing? Or a we don't trust an expat thing? Or a lets take advantage of an expat thing?

Metfone charges 3 months only as a colateral for the connection and router.
