Re: Newbie but passing through
What nationality are you? VOA is fine for most nationalities but there are some that don't qualify or may have difficulties.. I had assumed that an eVisa would be the best way to go in terms of reducing the risk of not being allowed into any of the 3 countries I aim to visit. Judging by the responses here VOA is the way to go. Is that just for Cambodia or could/should I seriously consider VOA for Vietnam? When I was working all the visa stuff was done for me!
Silence, exile, and cunning.

That's good, UK nationals don't have a problem getting VOA. I thought you might be from South Africa or Afghanistan or somewhere.Navrig wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 9:41 pmI am British.John Bingham wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 6:57 pmWhat nationality are you? Thanks everyone. I am revising my route but will discuss it in detail with a fellow cyclist who has cycled SEA a lot over the last 20 years.
Your advue has git me started. Now looking at VOA although that seems to be suspended for a month:

Seems strange.

Re: Newbie but passing through
The way I read that, it’s visas obtained from the embassy in DC- Walk in and visas applied for by email that are suspended, according to the notes. The next paragraph shows that online applications are available, which is a different service altogether. E-visa.Navrig wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2023 3:42 am Thanks everyone. Visa on Arrival, applied for on arrival in Cambodia is the service that most arrivals would be using.
I stand to be corrected, though, as this is the Kingdom of Wonder after all!
