I don’t watch Fox News, nor CNN. I cut the cord and watch over the air as well as Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, Amazon, NHK. TV is an LG. Excellent TV, shitty operating system (known flaw in all LG TVs).John Bingham wrote:You are missing the point New Kid. Do you actually have a TV that works or are you forced to use a tiny laptop to watch Fox? Have you figured out how to watch movies that are stored on a drive?
Tiny laptop is to communicate with the corporate motherships computer networks.
The single time I used the iPad Pro in the hospital, Netflix password was stolen and account hijacked.
Movies can stored on a networked drive, but that costs $$$ (hundreds to thousands) to buy a network drive hub with multiple drive striping and access manager to locally stored Apple TV, Movies+, and whatever service I used to use. Otherwise movies were stored locally on my iPhone on trips to Cambodia. iPhone has corporate programs that communicate with the mothership every 10-15 minutes (used to be every minute). and require a minimum iPhone OS level.
I know that others can do it cheaper with Linux, but I am not that tech savvy. I also know I can use Kodi, but not that tech savvy.
What was the point then?John Bingham wrote:Yeah, like I said you missed the point.
What is the point ? Is there a better way ?
I’m a old man , not some young whippersnapper.
