Ueah, I've heard good reports of there & also the Viet Cho Ray Hospital in PPone_dolla wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 8:46 am different country but I recently enquired for an old bloke friend who is not computer savvy for a Hernia operation at FV hospital in HCMC Vietnam, he had previous procedures there and was very happy with whole service
The two types of possible operation for his current issue were both less than $3000 USD which includes 2 nights in hospital bedside food etc.
They are good at communication on line so if your friend can go there might be an idea to get in touch if not this info might be helpful for others

Lots of surgeries can be done under spinal or regional block. Glad to hear yours worked out fine. Missus’ failed for her ovary removal and appendectomy and she felt it all.pissontheroof wrote:I also had a hernia operation in siem reap at neak thep I think is it .
It wasn’t near $800 , I guess between 200-300 dollars .
I could find the receipt if i had to . I was awake the whole time .
They shot something into my spine to make it not hurt and it worked .
I was told I should go to Bangkok or Pp but I didn’t .
I expected to die no matter where it was . ( I came here with a year to live )
Not likeing being there I left the following afternoon .
I never been to a gym since high school and wouldn’t start now .
But want to start some kind of excercise like walking at least except
I was happy since the operation but now i think I might be getting a new one ,
hope not .

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Recovery is slow. Very slow. Maybe a few years before she gets back to normal.phuketrichard wrote:".....Missus’ failed for her ovary removal and appendectomy and she felt it all."

That's pretty extreme. Is she sterile now?

Friday. Will be on ventilator at least 1 day. Assuming everything goes right. Worst case scenario, I don’t make it off the table. Nothing I can do about it.Ong Tay wrote:You're having surgery next week?newkidontheblock wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2023 12:23 amRecovery is slow. Very slow.
