Since we have big oak size mango trees in our compound here in Snookyville, we have lots of red ants. When I travel to Singapore I pick up a powder called "Anti-Ant." You dust some on their ant conga-line, they take it back to the nest and the queen is dead. Its Permethrin powder. Sorry Stroppy, its says not to use around cats.

I've been looking for a source of powdered Boric acid, but none so far.
