New goverment more than double the size an bet they get half as much done

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

This is Win - Win. Everyone wins. Except the people, the environment, and the future.

As long as the money keeps flowing in. And flow it will.

Cambodia will always play the western guilt card. Blaming the US (and the west) for all their troubles since time began (Khmer Rouge). It will be a buddy to mainland China for BRI while challenging western countries to counterbalance BRI money and influence.

Until the rails get built and 100 million plus mainland Chinese settle into the Kingdom of Wonder. With the many hundreds of millions of other Chinese settling in the rest of the countries in Southeast Asia. A Chinese retirees paradise.

Then it will be a Chinese territory as it was imagined before under the emperors.

They'll be in Taiwan long before they bother colonising Cambodia.

He most definitely isn't using illegal drugs. He has been drinking the Flavor-Aid though. 8-)

Good brief here in Le Monde Diplomatique... with some surprising numbers... old news, but I am beginning to think the unwieldy scale of all this clannish nepotism is going to cause serious problems in future. Every little nephew and cousin has to have a job and a car. What a lot of wimpy feckless dumb bums!

Jobs for the boys, and their sons
