Thank goodness communist China never supports totalitarian governments in pursuit of power and resources. China is the true beacon of hope and enlightenment. If only the rest of the could recognize this.HaifongWangchuck wrote:No, because those were both tangential to the topic of the US funding and supporting corruption and despotism where it is suitable, a charge you said was fantastical and imaginative, despite being supported by decades of evidence to the contrary of such a notion.John Bingham wrote: ↑Sun Oct 01, 2023 12:30 pm And you weren't changing the subject with your rants about Egypt, Pakistan etc? BS artist.
Changing the subject was more what you did tbh.
Only evil western governments, most notably the US is the sole financier of repression and enslavement worldwide.

IMO It's the righteous finger-wagging and the lessons on democracy from the US that piss people off. You know, there's that biblical saying ... (I had to google it so here it is):
3 Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove that splinter from your eye,’ while the wooden beam is in your eye? 5 You hypocrite,[a] remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother’s eye.
