Congresswoman Lauren Boebart fondling in theater.
Re: Congresswoman Lauren Boebart fondling in theater.
I think the take away on this is; would she show this video of the theater event to her children and tell them that behavior is considered Family Values. Or would she show them the video and tell them those actions are not Family Values, and mommy was wrong to behave that way. Shaming her only fuels her level of anger to prove that she is a victim. I see in this current society, that people don't take responsibility for their actions and find ways to be victims.

Her son knocked up his girlfriend at 17. I doubt there is any family values or shame in that household.stevenjb wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2023 12:53 am I think the take away on this is; would she show this video of the theater event to her children and tell them that behavior is considered Family Values. She certainly seems a bit of a sketchy character. Her family history has a few aspects which could make her an ideal role model and advocate for folks from a similar background, were she to play on those and not repeat them.
Except, how many folk of limited educational background can genuinely engage with those with more educational substance? How many families on welfare would be genuinely able to allocate family funds to AR-15s? To many, her focus would seem a bit askew.
And! With a personal family history hinting at disadvantage due to uncertain parentage, managing her own family life in a similar manner suggests that she actually regards these as values to aspire to. She is the role model she intends.

Please don't confuse my personality with my attitude. The former is me, the latter a reflection of you.

I'm not a serving member of a national congress anywhere (luckily some of you may think) & I've engaged in far more vigorous and "raunchy" behaviour than this in public during my late teens 20's and early 30's with zero blowback
I'm pretty OK with it & would be similarly if it was a blue haired democrat grinding on some asexual hippopotamus freak
It prob won't sit quite so well with the more devout and churchy members of her voter base though, oh well
