Cambodia News, (Svay Rieng Province): According to the Svay Rieng Provincial Police, this morning, August 20, 2023, 10 Vietnamese suspects and more than 3 kg of drugs were sent to Svay Rieng Provincial Court in connection with a case of drug trafficking and storage of firearms and ammunition.

On August 16, 2023, the Anti-Drug Bureau's specialized force cooperated with the Bavet City Police Inspectorate and the Provincial Court in an operation to crack down on drug trafficking and illegal possession of ammunition at the MDM.KTV in Bavet Kandal Village, Bavet Commune, Bavet City, Svay Rieng Province. Ten Vietnamese suspects were taken into custody, and a large number of exhibits were confiscated by officials.

According to the source, the evidence seized by the police included: 1948.95 grams of ketamine, 1332.77 grams of ecstasy, 517.06 grams of methamphetamine, 2 drug scales, 9 mobile phones, 2 cars, 3 weapons with ammunition, and other equipment.
