Phnom Penh, Cambodia: A Cambodian bag snatcher has been caught by police after robbing a 16 year old Russian girl. He got her bag and somehow ended up breaking her Sony phone before he was apprehended. It sounds like he was beaten up by the locals before the cops nabbed him.

UPDATE:

The wanted suspect was caught by Daun Penh police while he was snatching the purse from two young Russian girls. The snatching failed, so he tried to flee. However, he was caught, as it had been seen by the patrolling polices.

This incident occurred around 8:30 pm on 25, Feb, 2015 along Sisowatt blv corner street 130, Phsar Kandal 1, Daun Penh.

The suspect names Ros Chouch, 22 years old. He is living close to Hem Chet Cinema, street 130, Daun Penh.

The victim was a Russian national, 16 years old. She is working at the Russian Embassy (or is just a student in Russia, depending on which report you read). She is living/staying in BKK1.

He will be sent to court for his failed robbery attempt.
