22Yo Chinese Man Shot Himself on Kandal Farm
Cambodia News (Kandal Province): On July 27, 2023, a 22-year-old Chinese man committed suicide by shooting himself at 8:00 am on a farm belonging to Heng Ravy in Prek Thmei village, Teukvil commune, Sa'ang district, Kandal province. The deceased, Yeh Bo Jheng,was staying in the Tranikar Hotel in Prek Samrong 3 village, Sangkat Takhmao, Kandal province.
According to the report, the Chinese man was drinking at Bensor Bar at 2:30 am, on St. 310, Phnom Penh. He returned to his hotel at 3:00 am, and then, at 6:07 am, he drove his car out to the farmland where he shot himself with a Glock 17. His body was discovered by a security guard around two hours after the estimated time of death. RIP.

Referring to the suicide as "victim of suicide".
Family might use that term as a way of dealing with trauma, but shouldn't it be "the deceased" in a news report?
