The body of a young child has been found on the banks of the Mekong in Kampong Cham province.

CPU and the Cambodian National Police seek public assistance in identifying a deceased child.
The CPU in conjunction with the MOI and Kampong Cham Provincial Police Command is seeking information in regards to the identity of a male child aged between 1 to 3 years old whos body was discovered on the banks of the Mekong River at 7th village, commune Koh Sotin, Koh Sotin District, Kampong Cham Province at about 9am on the 18th of July 2023.
The child was wearing a red T-shirt and no pants when he was discovered. The CPU Homicide and Forensic Services Team conducted a forensic examination on the child. CPU and National Police are appealing to anyone with information concerning a missing child to please contact us immediately.
