Cambodia News (Siem Reap Province): On July 16, 2023, at 8:30 pm, nine people, suspected of belonging to a robber gang, were detained In Siem Reap City by the municipal police.
The junior gang members, directed by an older couple, were sought by police for a spate of robberies involving phones, motorbikes, and other items of value. After the teenage gang members were interrogated by the police, they soon told the authorities about the other two supects.

- Phon Tana called khemarak, 33yo
- Tean Vanna called Touch, a 17-year-old boy
- Som Sopha, called Ra, a 17-year-old boy
- Hem Rachana called Tihem, a 17-year-old boy
- Pot Phanha, a 17-year-ol boy
- Rithy Yasak, a 17-year-old boy

Gang organisers:
Et Yorn, a 39-year-old woman, and Chea Kosal, a 44-year-old man.
The police seized 7 smartphones and 2 motorbikes. The suspects are being questioned closely on other acts of theft committed by the gang in Siem Reap.
