Roller Bodyguards Ask Pardon for Punching Motodop

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On July 12, 2023, 4 bodyguards protecting an anonymous tycoon in a Rolls Royce (PNH 2BL-1717) have been disciplined at the police station for causing a public disturbance.
The four bodyguards were named as Men Socheat, a 37-year-old man, Keo Sovannora, a 34-year-old man, Sob Chanthu, a 30-year-old man, and Et Sunnat, a 34-year-old man. (However, the anonymous boss with a Rolls Royce has not been named.)

It appears that the traffic was congested, and bodyguards judged that a motodop was slow in getting out of the way of their boss' Roller, so they physically attacked him. Bystanders were shocked by this behavior, and some of them took photos to be posted on social media. When the police saw the social media posts, they stepped in to detain the four men, who have now promised to be upstanding citizens and to never to behave like this again.

I doubt they have the initiative to be proactive enough to assault the slow moto guy on their own, so they were obviously acting under orders.

Someone got pissed after seeing the media, someone much more powerful than the tycoon who was being guarded. Maybe family related, because the tycoon wasn’t named and shamed as well.

At least my guess. This being Cambodia, usually the entire story never comes out.
