Australian pressure cannot prevent drug executions
Re: Australian pressure cannot prevent drug executions
Scott Rush's sentence was eventually changed from death to life imprisonment. His story has been pretty much a roller coaster ride as he was first given life, then on appeal to reduce his sentence, the court ruled he be executed, and finally on appeal again given life - pretty taxing emotionally one would think.MekongMouse wrote:It was stupid, but I still feel really bad for them. I'm not surprised to learn the Aussie pigs had a role in their death either. The father basically ratted his son out too, sure he thought he was saving him, but damn he's going to live with that guilt the rest of his life.
The other 2 however look like they have exhausted all avenues to get out of this.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
