Cambodia News, (Kampong Speu Province): Buyers of houses and land, who invested money in the Morn Dany Company, have been protesting with banners and pleading for invention by the authorities in Kampong Speu province.
However, the Real Estate and Mortgage Regulatory Authority (NRPC) has announced that it will ask clients to remain calm and allow the professional officers to deal with stakeholders.

What they say:
The Real Estate and Mortgage Regulatory Commission (NRPC) stated, "In this sense, the NCP asks all customers to be patient and remain calm, not to participate in the demonstrations, but to give time to mediate with the Morn Dany company. The NPR will inform all clients of the results of the mediation no later than July 7, 2023."
The organization has named a dispute resolution team and held several meetings and finally agreed to allow an independent audit firm to verify the information and contract documents. On 22 June, it was decided to grant one more week to collect additional information.


What is really happening:
Up until now: On March 17, 2023, the Real Estate and Mortgage Regulatory Authority (NRPC) informed the public that the 29th project of Monduli Real Estate Co., Ltd.which is located in Chamkar Village. Sbov, Damnak Meanchey village, Dot Kambor village, Pheaksa village, Preah Nipvan commune, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province, has engaged in a housing development business without a license, and there are disputes with customers who bought land or a house in this 29th project.

Therefore, in order to protect the interests of customers and stakeholders, the NRPC has requested the Director of Morn Dani Real Estate Co., Ltd. to immediately stop ALL business activities of the 29th company project located above, and to cooperate with relevant institutions to resolve disputes with landowners.

Please be informed that KP Mondani luxury housing project is owned by Mr. Khun Thavong Phangphan and his wife Mrs. Mondani. After this incident, the couple left for Thailand and have been missing until now.
